This Privacy Policy explains how CHOICE ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and protects information you share when you apply to become a seller, operate a store, or interact with CHOICE Partner services. CHOICE acts as the data controller for the information described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Identity & contact: full name, email, phone number, address, city.
  • Business: brand name, category, product type, trade licence, TIN or NID.
  • Financial: bank account and mobile wallet details for payouts.
  • Operational: orders, listings, messages, and support conversations.
  • Technical: device, browser, IP address, and cookies used to secure the portal.

3. How We Use Information

We process information to:

  • Review applications and approve sellers.
  • Operate the marketplace, process orders, and issue payouts.
  • Communicate account updates, policy changes and support responses.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access.
  • Improve product quality, analytics and reporting.
  • Send marketing communications only where you have opted in (you can opt out anytime).

4. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Delivery partners required to fulfil orders you have accepted.
  • Payment providers processing your payouts.
  • Cloud infrastructure and email providers that keep the portal running.
  • Government or regulatory authorities where required by law.

5. Data Retention

We keep seller records for the duration of the account and for up to six (6) years after closure to meet accounting, tax and legal obligations. You may request deletion of non-mandatory data at any time.

6. Security

We apply industry-standard safeguards: TLS in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, role-based access controls, audit logging, and periodic security reviews. No system is completely secure — please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session security, and limited analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. You may clear cookies at any time from your browser; doing so will require you to sign in again.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access, correct or update your information from your seller profile.
  • Request export or deletion of your data by contacting our support team.
  • Withdraw marketing consent at any time.

9. Children

CHOICE Partner services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
